In my classroom, I have a set of very simple rules and I am fair and consistent in enforcing them. I try to make learning fun and promote “trying” and “caring.” My classroom works on four exciting units – insects, dinosaurs, Science Fair & outer space. We collect and categorize dead insects and also use art, play acting, poetry, movies and games to portray and understand insects. My second graders are a constant joy – I truly love seeing them progress in school and in life.
