Every child can learn and have a thirst for knowledge if motivated. Education is a partnership between the teacher, parent and the students; together we can change our community. This year we will study the United States. We memorize the states and capitals by a song. We locate the states on a map and each student selects a state to do a report on and also make a cookie of the state. We connect each cookie to make a huge, edible map of the United States! It’s delicious, educational and fun! I truly enjoy finding new and inventive ways for students to learn.
