My teaching philosophy fosters opportunities for individual discovery as well as critical thinking. I will take the role of the learning guide, rather than the feeder of information, allowing students to be responsible for their own investigation. I believe in hands-on learning as students discover answers for themselves and practice their learned skills in authentic situations. It is my goal for students to benefit from group collaboration and prepare them for their future. Student growth, both academic and social, is the core goal that I have for my students.
