I take every opportunity to instill a true love of learning in students, whether that be extending an exciting lesson plan or providing them with extra outlets (books, internet sites, field trips) to fuel their passion for learning. I use the Internet quite often as a resource for projects. Most recently, we used a unit developed by Scholastic to learn about the Underground Railroad. There is nothing I wouldn’t do to see excitement on my students’ faces about learning…it’s the best feeling in the world.
