“We look forward to once again bringing the community together – students, parents, teachers, and family members – for a fun, family-friendly event that celebrates Tucson’s rodeo history,” said La Paloma Lakeside Principal Steve Leininger. “Last year, a lot of folks had a great time and we were able to raise $5,000 towards updated technology for our kindergarten through eighth grade classrooms. We hope to surpass that goal this year while simultaneously providing a fun way to spend rodeo break.”

Funds raised at this year’s Ride ‘Em Rodeo Carnival event will go towards providing classroom science programs and technological equipment for La Paloma, Southern Arizona’s largest and fastest-growing charter school system. Businesses and organizations interested in sponsorship opportunities for the carnival can visit www.lpatucson.org for details, or contact Karen Stewart at (520) 661-0370.
