Tucson Businesses Invited to Participate in Holiday Expo

La Paloma Academy hosts holiday expo connecting small businesses, families

Tucson, AZ (10/31/11) – Tucson small businesses will once again have the chance to showcase their products to families and educators at the La Paloma Academy Holiday Expo. The community-building event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 13 at both La Paloma campuses: La Paloma Central, located at 2050 N. Wilmot Road; and La Paloma Lakeside, at 8140 E. Golf Links Road. The school invites local businesses to display arts, crafts, products and services during the family-friendly occasion, which will also feature kids’ activities and the opportunity for pictures and cookies with Santa.

The La Paloma Academy Holiday Expo is open to the public. Those interested in hosting a booth at one or both of the school Expos can apply at either of the La Paloma school offices. Applications for indoor exhibitor space will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Deadline for applications is Thursday, December 1. Booth set-up begins after 4 p.m. on the evening of the event.

Central
The space rental fee is $10 for the night for a table and two chairs in the campus cafeteria. In addition, pictures with Santa will be available for $5, which includes one framed photo and two unframed photos. Various kids’ activities will also be available

Lakeside
The space rental fee is $25 for the night in the campus gymnasium. Kids can enjoy taking part in Cookies with Santa as well as enjoying face painting, hair tinsel, a jumping castle, and craft tables. Food will also be available for sale at the Lakeside event. Businesses already scheduled to participate at the Lakeside Holiday Expo include Lia Sophia Jewelry, Mary Kay, Avon, Hughes Credit Union and Wells Fargo.
